What’s New 2008

Queen Anne TeapotThis year we are proud to add four new pieces to our product line.

We’re also eager to give you a sneak peak of the new, almost ready for sale, Queen Anne Teapots!

Geometric Handle PorringerLast summer, I acquired a rare 18th century geometric handle porringer at auction. I’ve waited many years to find one, and with it for inspiration, we now have our 8th different large porringer handle design! Priced at $85.
Fluted Bud VaseOur new Fluted Bud Vase stands 7 inches tall and has a beaded edge on the foot. It’s a simple, yet elegant design and a wonderful gift item. Priced at $45.
Fluted CandlesticksThe Fluted Candlesticks stand a handsome and formal 9 inches tall and have a beaded edge on the socket. These tall candlesticks are a wonderful addition to the lighting line! Priced at $185 per pair.
Mr. MooseLast, but certainly not least, we’re happy to introduce Mr. Moose. With so many of the real variety appearing in our woods, it seemed fitting to add this wonderfully detailed pewter casting to our figurine line. He stands 2.5 inches high and is 3 inches long. Priced at $20.

What’s New 2007

The new Creamer which stands about 5.25" tall is an original design, but it resembles an 18th century footed Philadelphia piece with its tulip shaped body, its graceful scroll handle, and its foot with the beaded edge.

The new Sugar Bowl is also an original design with the same 18th century Philadelphia influence. It too stands about 5.25" tall. Many 18th century sugar bowls used tankard lids for covers and mine is no different. The beaded finial is from the drum-shaped William Will teapot. It’s a wonderful thing when recycled parts work with new designs. But as you can see from these two pieces, I’ve painted myself right into a corner. I now have to design a Queen Anne teapot to round out the set!

The Whitmore Pint is my new favorite mug. Jacob Whitmore was a fine 18th century Connecticut pewterer and this piece is a tribute to him. The ball terminal handle is a beautiful thing to look at and it feels great in one’s hand. Many thanks to fellow pewter enthusiast and antique pewter dealer, Wayne Hilt, for helping me to create this wonderful new handle.

What’s New 2006

What’s new for 2006? Thanks to friend and antique pewter dealer, Wayne Hilt, we have a 7th large porringer in our product line. Wayne supplied me with a wonderful 18th century Dolphin handle which I was able to make a mold from. The beautiful new Dolphin Handle Porringer has a 5 in. basin bowl.

The new 28 oz. Strap Handle Mug is a beautiful form and looks like something made in and around the Boston area in the 18th century. Although it is an original design, the high fillet line on the body and the graceful strap handle were inspired by quart mugs made by Nathaniel Austin around the time of the American Revolution.

The Kids Cup is a scaled down version of the Pint Beaker and fits wonderfully in the hand of a young child. Our Emily, almost 7, uses her’s regularly.

The Hammered Napkin Rings are sturdy and fun to look at. They reflect light in their dimple pattern like no other piece in the product line. They look great on any table, especially those set in the mission style.

The Small Jones Porringer and the Small Heart Handle Porringers are not new for 2006, but are now fitted with a larger, 3.5 “ bowl. They make an excellent choice for babies, or young children. See them in our new Childrens Items section of the website.
