Our four styles of pewter buttons are cast in one antique bronze mold which my father always said pre-dated the Civil war. I think the mold is much older, perhaps late 18th century.
Each button has a distinctive design. The larger is called the Large Gentian. The three smaller ones are the Pine, Dogwood, and Small Gentian. These are the sturdiest buttons you will ever own!
